The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library is the largest public library in Dubai. The design of the library is inspired by the shape of a Turkish lectern. The main features of this library are the conference center, exhibition spaces, children’s library, and a bookshop on the ground floor, reading halls, service areas, the business library and the training halls.
Vann-FID has contributed the magnificence of the MBR Library through development, supply and installation of the Glass Wall Art at the main entrance and pre-function area of the building. The installation consists of a glass tile wall as an element of continuity from the floor to the ceiling level of the Pre-Function and Café area overlooking at the entrance. The Glass Wall Art is higher than 8 meters and approximately 18 meters wide. The whole design is based on the pattern of the single glass piece and is made of completely new custom-made crystal glass that create a soft yet very sophisticated concentric effect.
