Topgolf Dubai brings together sport, entertainment and hospitality within a highly energetic social destination. For its dramatic double-height entrance spaces, Vann-FID was commissioned to create a pair of large-scale Light-Art installations conceived as part of the venue’s identity and arrival experience. Named “Hole in One,” the installation draws from one of golf’s most celebrated achievements. Illuminated circular forms and hundreds of suspended clear and white glass spheres abstract the visual language of golf holes and balls into a cascading composition extending approximately 8.3 metres in height and 3.2 metres in diameter. Integrated RGBW colour-changing illumination allows the rings to shift in character with the atmosphere of the venue. Playful yet architectural, Hole in One transforms a familiar expression from the sport into an immersive Light-Art statement, using scale, movement and light to create a memorable entrance to Topgolf Dubai.
