Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, Conrad Dubai is a five-star urban hotel with individually conceived dining destinations forming an important part of its hospitality experience. Vann-FID was appointed to develop and supply the bespoke decorative lighting for the all-day dining and Izel Restaurant, working across two distinct interior concepts. For Izel, the Latin American-inspired interiors by WA International featured three monumental dome chandeliers measuring approximately 3 to 4 metres in diameter. Intricate metal fretwork, inspired by the lace and movement of traditional Spanish costume, was developed into sculptural illuminated forms suspended beneath gold-leaf ceiling features. Within the all-day dining spaces, Vann-FID delivered a contrasting collection of bespoke pendants, wall lights, and table lamps developed to complement the sophisticated interiors. Together, the project demonstrates the versatility of bespoke hospitality lighting, adapting materials, scale, and craftsmanship to two very different dining environments within the same hotel.
