Located on the Dubai Water Canal within Al Habtoor City, the five-star Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City was originally developed as The Westin Dubai Al Habtoor City. Vann-FID was appointed to design, develop, and supply the bespoke decorative lighting throughout the hotel’s public areas, delivering 1,694 custom-made fixtures across the lobby, restaurants, corridors, ballroom, pre-function spaces, meeting rooms, and executive areas. The collection ranged from decorative pendants, table and floor lamps to large-scale chandeliers and feature lighting, with materials, opulent finishes, and proportions developed specifically for each space. A defining installation within the 1,425 sqm Al Joud Ballroom extends 18 metres in length and 6.3 metres in width, comprising 4,500 clear ribbed glass elements arranged in sweeping formations inspired by the movement of ocean waves. From intimate decorative pieces to monumental installations, the project demonstrates Vann-FID’s ability to deliver bespoke hospitality lighting across multiple scales, combining design development, detailed engineering, specialist manufacturing, and hand-finished craftsmanship within one cohesive lighting collection.
