Working closely with DESIGNWILKES, Vann-FID developed the bespoke “Silk Road” art concept, delivering more than 2,700 curated and bespoke artworks alongside over 3,000 bespoke decorative lighting fixtures throughout the guestrooms and public areas. The integrated Light-Art program translated the spirit of the historic Silk Road into a contemporary hospitality experience, uniting narrative, craftsmanship, and technical precision across every guest touchpoint. This unparalleled dedication to design excellence contributed to Mandarin Oriental Jumeira’s widespread international acclaim, triumphing as the Winner at the 2021 LIV Hospitality Design Awards (Interior Design | Hotel – Luxury) and taking home Gold at the 2020 MUSE Design Awards (Interior Design | Hotels).
