Mandarin Oriental Muscat is a luxury beachfront hotel located in the prestigious Shatti Al-Qurum district, overlooking the Arabian Sea. Designed to reflect the spirit of its coastal setting, the property combines contemporary elegance with Omani cultural influences, balancing calm material palettes with carefully composed architectural details across guestrooms, restaurants, spa facilities, and public areas. Working closely with the design team led by Xavier Cartron and the project contractor Larsen & Toubro, Vann-FID was responsible for the design development, engineering, and supply of bespoke decorative lighting throughout the property. The scope included the realization of 3,525 custom-made decorative lighting fixtures, each developed specifically to align with the interior concept and spatial character of the hotel. Following a competitive design selection process, Vann-FID also designed and delivered the bespoke Ballroom and Spa chandeliers. Conceived as integral Light-Art installations, these large-scale features combine sculptural presence with technical precision, contributing to the architectural identity and experiential quality of the spaces.
