Ministry of Interior Headquarters

Jeddah, KSA

The Ministry of Interior Headquarters in Jeddah is a significant governmental development, with interiors by Areen Design defined by strong architectural proportions, refined materials and a contemporary approach to formal institutional spaces. The scale and character of the interiors called for decorative lighting with an equally considered architectural presence.

Vann-FID was appointed to develop and supply the large-scale bespoke decorative lighting features, translating the design concepts through detailed engineering, material development and specialist manufacturing. Each piece was resolved to meet the project’s technical requirements while maintaining the formal clarity and visual impact of the original design intent.

Key features include monumental tiered crystal chandeliers for the main reception and executive areas. The largest compositions extend over 6 metres in width and incorporate more than 1,200 individual crystal elements arranged across multiple tiers, creating a disciplined architectural presence appropriate to the character and stature of the headquarters.
