Mohammed Bin Rashid Library is one of Dubai’s landmark cultural destinations, conceived as a contemporary center for knowledge, culture, and learning. Set along Dubai Creek in Al Jaddaf, the 54,000 sqm development is defined by its distinctive architectural form inspired by an open book resting on a traditional lectern. Working with Fino International, Vann-FID provided value engineering, development, and supply of bespoke architectural glass wall cladding for key interior areas. The solution translated the design intent into a technically viable system of textured glass elements, creating depth, rhythm, and reflection across expansive wall surfaces. With feature walls extending up to 8.5 meters in height, the scope required careful material development, fabrication, and coordination to achieve consistency across the repeated glass elements. The result transforms the wall surface into a strong architectural feature while demonstrating Vann-FID’s capability in delivering technically demanding bespoke solutions at scale.
