For this luxury private villa in Dubai, Vann-FID worked closely with Urban Habitat and the client to develop a collection of bespoke decorative lighting and Light-Art installations. Each piece was conceived to complement the interior architecture while bringing its own character and narrative, introducing an elegant, locally inspired expression of light and art throughout the home. Two principal Light-Art installations define the formal dining and entrance experiences. In the formal dining room, a monumental 15.5-metre installation draws inspiration from Emirati hospitality and generosity, abstracting welcoming hands into a flowing composition of illuminated elements. At the entrance, Dance with the Wind extends approximately 9.4 metres beneath the skylight, capturing movement through sculptural forms that gather, disperse and flow. The wider bespoke lighting collection responds to the character of each setting: welcoming at the entrance, refined in the formal spaces and playful within the family areas. Together, the pieces create a cohesive lighting narrative, bringing elegance, personality and a distinctive sense of place to the residence.
