Located at The Beach, Jumeirah Beach Residence, the waterfront cinema destination combines entertainment with a premium hospitality experience overlooking Dubai’s coastline. Vann-FID worked with ALEC Fitout and Opaal Interiors to develop and supply bespoke decorative lighting for the entrance and premium lounge areas, giving each zone its own visual identity. A defining entrance feature is a sculptural installation composed of more than 100 illuminated acrylic tubes suspended at varying heights. Repetition, scale and warm integrated light create a strong focal point on arrival, introducing a sense of theatre and anticipation appropriate to the cinema experience. For the premium lounge, Vann-FID developed a four-tier chandelier formed from more than 100 polished brass tubes suspended at varying lengths from braided flex. Together, the two installations explore contrasting materials and forms while demonstrating how bespoke lighting can shape both arrival and lounge experiences within the same entertainment destination.
