For the refurbishment of The H Hotel Dubai, Vann-FID worked closely with WA International to develop and supply the bespoke decorative lighting for the lobby and public areas, translating the interior concept into a collection of large-scale lighting features designed for the hotel’s expansive spaces. The collection combines contemporary forms with detailed craftsmanship, including 2.8-metre-diameter bespoke crystal chandeliers, coordinating crystal wall lights, sculptural metal lanterns, and a striking composition of oversized floor lamps. Different scales, materials, and lighting typologies were developed to respond to the architecture and individual zones while maintaining a cohesive visual language throughout the public areas. The oversized floor lamps create a particularly distinctive feature within the lobby seating areas, using dramatic shifts in height and proportion to bring intimacy to the double-height space. Together, the bespoke lighting contributes warmth, rhythm, and a strong decorative identity to the hotel’s contemporary interior.
