W Dubai – Mina Seyahi reinterprets Arabian storytelling through the bold, contemporary lens of the W brand. Located on Dubai’s coastline and designed by BLINK Design Group, the hotel combines vibrant social energy with layered cultural references and was recognised with the LIV Hospitality Design Award for Guestrooms. Vann-FID provided art consultancy and supply for the guestrooms and public areas, delivering 1,230 artworks alongside 2,705 decorative objects, accessories and sculptures. Inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, the collection adopted Scheherazade as its narrative anchor, translating folklore, calligraphy, local heritage and symbolic characters into a contemporary visual language. A defining feature is the bespoke guestroom welcome installation, inspired by the theatrical spirit and storytelling masks associated with Scheherazade. Designed to spark curiosity from the moment of arrival, the piece transforms the guestroom entrance into part of the narrative and reinforces the wider art programmememe’s sense of discovery.
